And in the beginning there were two...

So right now it's just me and my husband, Rob. The "baby makes three" part is coming. We are in the very long process of adopting a baby from China. Who knew it would take so long, but I guess it's only fair since everything else happened so quickly.

Rob and I met on-line, very mod, I know. We were engaged 3 months later and married 8 months after that. Honeymoon in Aruba right after that...

Then we started doing what most couples do, worked on having a baby. We figured out that doing it the traditional way wasn't going to work for us so we moved right on to adoption. Now, I realize it doesn't happen that quickly for most people, I guess we are either just meant to be and in perfect sync or we're a little crazy.

In the meantime, I'm doing what I do best... plan. As in most marriages, I'm doing all the adoption paperwork. Rob says I'm just better at doing that kind of stuff. A bunch of bull, I know, but also correct. I'm in constant contact with our agency, working on getting all our papers in order, notarized, authenticated, basically making everything look good for China.

I'm also planning for once the baby comes, which is the fun part. I'm in and out of baby stores, on websites and talking to all my mom friends. My obsession with all things baby (and my knowledge of adoption) led me to this blog. I hope you find it helpful and enjoy coming along for the ride...
